If CityCenter Studios is for the days you want to be in the middle of Saranda, the farmhouse is for the days you don't.

Çukë is a village about seven kilometres from the centre of Saranda — but it sits on the road south, on the way to Ksamil and the smaller beaches. On a busy summer day, you can reach the coast from the farmhouse faster than from the centre of town. Hills, olive trees, slower mornings. Our farm is here, and the farmhouse sits on it.

It's a one-bedroom place, sleeping up to four, with a fully equipped kitchen, a living area, air conditioning, free WiFi, and a private outdoor space. Self check-in with a lockbox, so you arrive on your own time.

Best for A slower stay, a couple of nights away from town

Why a village, not a hotel.

Most people coming to Saranda stay in town — which makes sense for a beach holiday. But the southern Albanian coast has another side that gets missed: the villages above it. The food tastes different in the villages. The pace is different. The light, especially in late afternoon, is different.

The farmhouse is for guests who want a few days of that — without losing access to the beaches. Ksamil and the smaller coves south of Saranda are quicker to reach from here than from the city centre in summer, when the town gets busy. Family Pot, in the centre, is about fifteen minutes by car.

The grove around it.

The olive trees on the property are part of our family's grove. We took on the grove about a decade ago and have been pressing oil from it since. In October and November when the olives ripen, we harvest them and cold-press the oil. The same oil that ends up on the table at Family Pot. The same oil we bottle as a take-home.
